Description: In 2009, Tomáš was approached by Ambra Medda (co-founder of Design Miami and founder of L'ArcoBaleno) and her team to participate in Craft/Punk event commissioned by FENDI fashion house. The main theme was craft. Studio Libertiny undertook to explore the craft of welding in a production of time consuming production process. The semi-robotic system was devised to craft an object of multitudes of layers of welded stainless steel. The result was a light and extremely strong form in a shape of a void. Texture of erratic nature was in strong contradiction to the shape, industrial vs. natural.
